Media training
Conflict generates interest, and the media is more attracted to negative stories than positive events. Presenting your organisation's position in a robust and credible manner will help it to retain control of the agenda, and as such it essential that an organisation is able to respond to interview requests at a moments notice. Spokespeople who have not been trained and who don't understand the mechanics of the media are in a vulnerable position.
It is essential that key figures within organisations regularly attend media training courses, to ensure that they are able to clearly convey key messages in times of intense scrutiny. |
